Detective Constable Weatherley was killed in a road traffic collision while travelling to report for duty at Aylesbury, in the early morning, when her car was struck by another vehicle, which crossed the carriageway travelling
in the opposite direction on the A413 at Hoggeston.

A woman aged 44 was convicted of causing death by careless driving
and sentenced to six months imprisonment.

Dee was appointed in November 2003 and joined the CID in 2006
working in on the Priority Crime Team at Aylesbury where
she had been recently commended for an off duty arrest.

She was survived by her partner, a serving officer, with whom she had been expecting a baby; her mother and step-father, her father and her sister.
