BRITISH COLONIAL POLICE ROLL OF HONOUR

World peace-keeping is nothing new for the United Kingdom, whether through the formation to break-up of Empire, or by mandate of the League of Nations (1919-1946) and United Nations (1945 on) , British police officers have led and served in forces throughout the world.

Many lost their lives, often alongside native colleagues, carrying out their duties for their country and to help other countries. Most are now forgotten except by their few surviving comrades.

How many died is not known, certainly hundreds, perhaps thousands.

The Trust aims to remember all  fallen British police officers,

no matter where or when they served, before it is too late.

Roll-of-Honour.com - This site is dedicated to those men and women who fell fighting for their country. Contains numerous military Rolls of Honour from the two world wars and other conflicts.

Palestine Police Old Comrades Association - The Association aims to create and to maintain a bond of comradeship, irrespective of rank, between all who have served in the Palestine Police in any capacity whatsoever and to assist any members in distressed circumstances.

The War Graves Photographic Project - Their aim is to photograph every war grave, individual memorial, MoD grave, and family memorial of serving military personnel from WWI to the present day and make these available within a searchable database. Includes colonial police graves.
